I'm not sure if it was intentional, but (time for me to date myself) you can use the male warrior to recreate the entire Boston Celtics starting lineup from the 80's (post Pickney). That'd be Larry Bird, Dennis Johnson, Danny Ainge, Robert Parrish and Kevin McHale. They have identical faces and hair for Bird, Parrish and Ainge.

For all you Canadians out there, imagine Ex. PM Jean Chretien as your guild leader. Suddenly you will look in your guild stash and see that half of the money is gone and Guild Officer Paul Martin will claim he had no idea it was gone... Sound familiar?

If a celebrity claimed he/she played Guild Wars who'd believe them?
Iam Madonna, "Great group, and by the way, I'm Madonna, the celebrity in real life." Teammate 1, "Yeah right." Teammate 2, "STFU, noob." Teammate 1, "Hehe, noob." Teammate 3, "Who is Madonna?" Teammate 2, "Teammate 3, you're a noob." Iam Madonna, "No really, I am!" Teammate 1, "Shut up." See, no one would believe. You could have been playing with celebrities and not even know it. The only 'celebrities' we would believe is if we see in game names such as "Gaile Gray" or some other ANET or NCSoft developer. |

Is Bush played GW he'd be a W/Mo
-edit- Oh, getting on-topic. Pauly Shore plays GW? As long as his GW-playing is better than his humor, I won't complain. Last edited by Asplode; Aug 18, 2005 at 03:16 PM // 15:16.. |

I think I read an article years ago that Kurt Russell was into video games. At the time he was going to one of those "virtual reality arcades" (do they still exist?) to play some multiplayer mecha-battle thing (I have no idea what the name was). In the article he said it wasn't fair because when everyone knew he was in the house, the whole game would just turn into a big Kurt Russell hunt. LOL.

Geez, have some sympathy. Some day (when you're my age, sonny) someone's gonna call you a "creepy old guy" and it's gonna make you whack your nurse with your cane and throw your geritol across the room in anger - until they sedate you - then everything is OK again..... zzzzz |

Most of the guys I've 'met' that are playing female characters are really young, and seem to just like the idea of being able to take a girl's clothes off... |

i'm female and i play a female character i've stumbled across a few females that play female characters, but then again they could just be saying they are female. the only real way you could tell is if you were on ts with them and then there are some guys with high girly voices so i guess you can never really tell. lol. |

Nah, photobucket just decided to shrink the picture and change the colours a bit. I need to change the actual picture to JPG, but my paint program doesn't want to cooperate. Although, I do have four choices of bmp that I can save it as. And I can honestly say I've never played a female character. Ever. Throughout my entire gaming experience.. Well, except when I was forced to (Perfect Dark, anyone?), but all of my characters are male. I dunno, I just don't like playing female characters. I like to imagine my characters as being, well, me. |

About using female characters though...I'm sorry, I just wouldn't do it. Don't get me wrong, in other games such as Ice Wind Dale (where you have a group of Quest characters) I have created and included a couple of female characters. A game like that however, I play in the 3rd person, not really relating myself to any one particular character. However, in this game I see the avatar as being a 'mini-me' and I play it in a 1st person sense. I just can't identify with playing as a woman. Having said this...I think another poster said it correctly, if I was to play a female character, it would only be in order to get help easier, get accepted in a PUG quicker, cheaper prices for trade items...etc. And lastly, just to be able to remove items of clothing for my own private pleasure...LOL. Sorry ladies. My comments aren't meant to be insulting. I'm just having some fun. No offense intended. BTW. How about the shoe on the other foot. Any women playing male characters? Later, skull |
